The SpaceX and Tesla CEO made this known in a post on his X handle, writing, “Johann Sebastian Bach is the Shakespeare of music. Best there ever was.”
Bach was an 18th-century German composer, keyboardist, violinist, organist and music director known for his extensive contributions to classical music.
His notable compositions include the Brandenburg Concertos, Cello Suites, Goldberg Variations, The Well-Tempered Clavier and Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
Other celebrated works by the composer include St. Matthew Passion and Mass in B minor, which remain influential pieces in the classical music tradition.
